Place template 1" larger than the mat on the prepared
surface. |

|

|
Prime the entire template area with ATM Permanent Primer.
This may be done by roller, brush or sprayer. |
|

|
|
|
|
|
|

|
Permanent Primer must be thoroughly dry and firm before the
mat can be applied, Depending on temperature and humidity, this will take approximately 5
to 10 minutes. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
Place the Warning Mat into position. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Tamp the Warning Mat in place with an instrument such as the ATM 19151 Tamper
Cart*.
|
 |
Special attention should be paid to the outside edges of the Detectable
Warning Mats to make sure they are firmly adhered to the surface. |
 |
For large installations it is recommended the installer purchase a
specially designed ATM 19151 Tamper Cart. This will greatly reduce installation
time and insure a successful installation. |

|
Depending on surface conditions and local and state
requirements included anchoring system may be used.
|
 |
Refer to included diagram for proper anchor attachment, pre-drill holes
with 3/16" masonry bit and install anchor bolts. |
 |
CAUTION: screw bolts to the top of the mat only. Over-tightening or
screwing bolts beyond this will damage the mat and void their warranty. |

Open to traffic immediately. |
|
|

|
For large installations it is
